Sorry to offend but it isnt my biased opinion . Pete Townsend was asked about the song.It was on tv years ago. It is a true story. but he refused to reveal who he saw.....Its speculated it was Keith Moon . I did not mean to offend .I just knew it was not about a gay encounter.It is a very emotional song !

That's your biased opinion. How dare you state it as fact. People write songs based around desires, emotions, etc. NOT politics, historic events and religion. Generally speaking a person may alter the interpretation of a song a small bit based on his/her own feelings.. but to go as far as to say it's about religion.. without backing it up!
