Um, that's Ringo doing the funky, soulful drums, Lennon on background vocal, and George Harrison improvising an unadorned and wonderfully fluid bluesy/gospel guitar solo, which he would develop into two different and classic guitar solos on the single and album (Let It Be) respectively. That makes this a BEATLES DEMO, and NOT a "Paul McCartney demo."

Twist and Shout was not a single. The point I made was the all their singles were self written. I never said the Monkees didn't outsell the Beatles and Stones in 1967! If you just scroll up you'll see that. You've got it completely wrong. As I have said before, I am not arguing with you, I love the Monkees, it's just you're getting totally and utterly wrong.
