Normie Rowe

I went and saw him at a pub in Melbourne in July - he only sang 6 of his songs from the 60's and this wasn't even one of them.The rest of the songs he did were from other artists.I was very disappointed -I,and most of my schoolmates (guys) idolised him back in those days - you'd think he'd have paid his fans more respect.

@sail1948 In the late 60s he was drafted in the Vietnam war n when he came back his charting success unfortunately faded by that time. He still performs today n is well appreciated by fans. I personally have met Normie 3 years ago through a 70s Aussie pop star/TV presenter I knew Ray Burgess, he invited me to a Normie Rowe gig at a leagues club in Ryde, it was an excellent show n Normie pulled some funny jokes in between.

@iamaussie Have you any idea what became of Normie Rowe? I was a 17 year old pom living in Fremantle in 1965 and some girls thought I was him and mobbed me. Happy days!!
