Remix for Lush Life on the new Nat King Cole album "RE:GENERATIONS" produced by Nat's daughter.

Great job with this tune!

PS: Thank you Serban for this song

PS2: I do not own the song and I didn't make the remix :)

I think it's a good attempt considering the type of song Cee-lo chose to use...  I think Nat's voice could have been synced more to His Rhythm Track... One would have to totally delete the original Harmony for Lush Life in order to make room for Cee-lo's III half-dminished 7th, VI7, II7, VII7 4 Chord Harmonic Loop.  I suppose this was done to try to accommodate the melodic structure of Lush Life off course which is quite complex...  It's like how in Reggae Music there is a purposeful breaking down of the harmonic structure to accommodate for Rhythmic (Riddim) Groove... Less Chords creates more stability & danceability in Reggae/Dancehall/HipHop e.t.c.

I don't know how anyone could like this "version" of the song after hearing Nat King Cole's slow and measured and sane approach to it, much less Johnny Hartman's. See-Lo must have been smoking something crazy when he decided to do this...

sang by Nat King Cole...just because Cee-lo remixed it, does not make it hip hop.... .-.
