@danielpayan11 We're worth dying for, simply because He loves us so much. nope, im not saying that our lives are more worth than His. and, yes, i agree that we deserve condemnation for every sin we have committed. Here the emphasis is not on us, but on His love. And because He treasures each and everyone of us, even if it means that He needs to die on the cross, so that we can reconnect back to Him, He was willing to pay the price, hence worth dying for. :)

That God saw equally beauty and worth that is in Him, in us. I'm sorry but that is not what the bible teaches. We did NOT deserve His sacrifice. We deserve condemnation for every sin we have committed. we are not beautiful in and of ourselves. God displaces His great Love not because we are worth it. but because we don't.

@danielpayan11 hi daniel, here's my opinion on what you commented, hope you don't mind :) God's love displayed on the Cross is the ultimate demonstration of we being worth dying for.. because if He didn't die for us, our sin would not be washed away, and we would be condemned eternally.. And yes, even when Christ was on the Cross, it was all because of His grace and mercy.

Thought it was a christian song until I heard "I'm someone worth dying for". We Christians are not worth dying for, that is the whole point of Gods great Love and great Grace.
