I love this song but it hurts to hear in the same token. Makes me feel broken and undeserving. So much of this song reminds me of my life and don't feel worth the price gods son paid

@Bekah Waters, I completely understand your question and where you are coming from... but the whole thing is we are "worth dying for" because Christ died for us. Being God's creation, doesn't mean we deserved Jesus dying for us. Really it is the opposite, Jesus dying for us is a blessing none of us will ever deserve. Not by our actions, or our understanding... we got it like a gift. Christ's willingness to die for us is what made us "worth dying for"... not the fact that we are made by God. It was a way to for Christ to show his love for us, and that is how the title came around... We are now deemed WORTH DYING FOR, because someone did die for us, not because we deserved it but because he did it for us. I don't know if that makes sense to you... but I think the title came around after the action... If Christ didn't die for us, would you still be worth dying for? From my perspective... no, because no one is willing to actually do it, and complete it... but since Christ did... we are NOW worth dying for.

I love this song, it reminds us that we are more than flesh and bones, and that God sees us. He sees our heart and he sees our spirit. No matter what we are going through and how we sometimes turn our back on him he is always there. Even in our filth he says we are beautiful because we are his. There are times that I've question if I was worth dying for and God has reassured me that I am and so is everyone else. Remember that God loves you and that you are beautiful inside and out!! :)

The first time I've heard this. I burst out crying. Because each words were spoken made me picture the actions on my own life. And the lyrics questioned me like I was meant to hear it. Questioning me am I more then flash and bones. Am I beautiful? and I kept questioning this to myself. Am I? I wanted to say 'YES' this the lyrics didn't question me anymore. It flat out told me that I was so worth living for. That my Jesus did died for me. ME! and I am forever thankful of his chose so I can live. But life is nothing...without Jesus! I love you Jesus.

see that's the beauty of our God even if we may not deserve it he sees us as his children n loves us unconditionally that's y he says u can earn it your life has purpose God loves you so much he forgives u only then will you deserve it if u are his faithful child n believe in him it doesn't say to be perfect just to believe n have faith in him!

True, God can't create something bad....but if we deserved it then the cross isn't as extraordinary...which one sounds more amazing...."Jesus died for the sins of the world....but they (we) deserved it anyway" or... "Jesus died for the universe because of his unconditional love and mercy toward the world!" ???
