All of you folks out there in YouTube land: I'm not going to give free publicity, and, help bring bring yet more undeserving profits to yet another big corporation (but, I agree to pay the artists) but, someone else on this page posted a comment that should give you a fairly strong hint as to a related website where to go to look at a lot of classic videos. I trust that everyone will eventually find that page and other websites to visit, view videos and legally download songs.

The song always makes me cry. I fell out with my Dad shortly before I was to make him a grandfather and we didn't speak to each other by my own choosing. We never made it up - I was going to get in contact a few years later and mend the bridge between us but he died suddenly. I live with regret. I think about him every day. And I love this song, though it's so very painful, it's nice to know I'm not alone. I wasn't there that morning when my father passed away...

I can't believe when this played on the radio back in the day that the second verse was cut. Why?? When I bought the tape and heard the missing verse, I couldn't imagine hearing the song without it.
