I am so glad I have the dad I have. He is truly THE BEST!! Wish anyone else could have a father like I do...and my mum too! They are amazing...I am 30 years old now and my parents care about me and my older sister so much! This song is so relevant to me now. My father passed away in July 2013, and wenever saw Eye to Eye. I guess we were just two different people, with a clash inpersonalities. But he had such a violent temper, which kind of pushed me furtheraway from him, and so we never really got to know each other in the kind of waya father and son should have. Maybe if things had of been different, we mighthave gotten along better. I must admit, when I hear this song now, I get a lumpin my throat, because the lyrics describe the relationship that we had. I supposehe thought something about me, when I reflect on the little things he did for me.He was one of those guys who couldn't show his true feelings, and so he showedhe cared in other ways. r.i.p. Dad.
