I was still reeling from the news of my dad's death when it came over the radio that the other man that had greatly influenced my life--John Lennon--had been shot dead. I was thousands of miles away from them both and I was devastated.My dad never told me he loved me. I would say "I love you, dad" and he would simply say "thank you". This wasn't enough for me but it was all I got and better than nothing.It's been so long--nearly 40 years. I miss both men every day. I wasn't there that morning 4th July 2011 when my father passed away. I hated the way he was so tight fisted with his money but he could always afford the next holiday and the designer clothes . While I had to get a loan that I couldn't really afford to buy a car. Now I have children of my own my son has a newer car than me and he is never without and when we go out I pay as I don't want my son treated like me. I want my kids given a good start in life. Even saying all this I still miss my dad as he was the only person on this earth who could stand up to my brother.6 years назад

I have many songs that remind me of my family, daughter lost way too young in the prime of her life, father and mother taken way too early, and try to just focus with my music on the many happy times we shared and how lucky a man I am to have had their love in my life.
