Freddie Mercury isn't the first person I'd be comparing to, but Aussie girl band Stonefield is pretty epic-sounding 60's 70's rock, in which I can easily hear at least Led Zeppelin, Frank Zappa and Cream sounds. Others exist, but Stonefield is easily my favourite. Good old talent of rock is not dead, it's just hiding a little bit more underground than in the 70's.

@AlexTrevelyan you're right.. i would like to add another one band which influence my musical interest as well = procol harum. Procol and Pink Floyd are on my top list :)) The others are just legendary as well! those were the days..
