Too true. They were the best. I remember every time I watched a Linda Ronstadt concert my eyes darting about the stage trying to find Andrew Gold as he just kept moving! As you say, any instrument?? I think he plyaed 9. The others are great too, in particular the late Kenny. He harmonised brilliantly too. She was a clever girl, Linda, back then - surrounded herself with the best, brightest and, I imagine, kindest. Nice men, all

@MrBigd1970 - During this era, Ronstadt was at least as big a commercial force as Young and waaay ahead of him in Top 40 hit singles. She was not backing him on the tour she refers to: she received equal billing. Her presence on some of his records was as a celebrity taking a guest turn, not as a back-up singer. And gorgeous indeed, starting with that incredible voice.

Linda is amazing here. I love to hear her talk during her shows. She has such a cute voice. And I love the way she dressed. Very sexy! Nice body too! I bet she drove the men in the audience crazy. I know I would have been.
