I highlighted the Moody Blues music today on my Facebook music group..this song of course had to be included. The band is going to be here in New York in May, by coincidence i'm on vacation the week they will be here. I promptly purchased a ticket to one of the shows. First time I will get to hear them live after having been a fan for over 40 years.

Justin Hayward's voice could melt the heart of a marble statue and this song is a thing of beauty. I visited Scotland this past summer and I will tell you Jill that you have captured not only the spirit of Justin's voice and this gorgeous song but you captured the feel of the highlands, a place of mystery, beauty and wonder. You must have a Celtic heart yourself. Thank you.

I looked up the credits on the CD booklet. Don't quote me but I think the instrument is called "uilleann pipes" (by process of elimination). There's some YouTube videos on the instrument, if you do a search
