Unfortunately I didn't come to Oz until 1970, but went to see him about 1974/5. Yeh I miss him and his music. A great talent lost.

Would be great to see Andrew O'Keefe sing this at the end of Telethon one year in memory of his uncle....

This is by far my favorite Johnny O'Keefe song. Who is his back-up group on this, is the Delltones? I'm from the U.S. and never heard to much about him but I'm certainly a big fan. Thanks for posting this great video and song.

This song I dedicate to Kathleen living in LA California. Love form Mum in Australia. Your maturity never ceases to amaze me. You are and inspiration, with calming wisdom. Keep up the good work 'Little Grasshopper.'

I visited his grave in 1991. The 30th anniversary of his death was this past October 6th. I felt that he was forgotten, and in 1990, I wote a letter to a national magazine that was published regarding my thoughts how JO'K was largely forgotten, and Barry O'Keefe, Johnny's broher saw it, and actually wrote me to thank me for my letter. I still have the letter he sent. JO'K will ALWAYS be the King of Australian Rock'n'Roll!!!

My grandparents are buried 27 steps away from J'OK at Northern Suburbs Cemetary. On the anniversary of his death, there is always beautiful floral tributes to him. It is nice to know he isn't forgotten.

Where in the hell do you get all these Aussie clips?? I'm a video collector and haven't seen the bulk of your clips on collector's lists. The song sounds like a mix between Paul McCartney, Johnny Burnette, and Bobby Vee! Which equals greatness. This copy comes from a video, not a kinescope, which makes it all the more special!

I think your've underestimated the 50's/60's GrandClinny, they were the same back then as they are now...maybe even more professional. J o'k was considered a good looker before the accident and had a very strong voice. And I bet you can't even do karaoke! As the old saying goes "those who can't do, teach"
