the 2007 reunion is the best his voice has been in over a decade and he is singing down low very well...but he has no range,the high notes are not there anymore,some notes he skips all together...honestly,i like his older ,more mature singing voice better. just doesnt mesh well with zep ...like a classic car,classic bands have a sound that can never be replicated

His voice is shot? He isn't doing anything anymore? First of all, for a 64 year old, he still sounds fantastic. Listen to their reunion gig, I think he did a brilliant job for a 60 year old man. Plus he just finished a solo tour around the world! Let's see what you are doing at 60+ years old.

plants voice is odd...but fits the sound of zeppelin perfectly,and it just so happens,chris s unique voice also very similar to plants,fits zep very well...i love it...and dont forget plant isnt really doing anything anymore,his voice is shot

So seriously bad ass. As an aging rocker and I was around when this stuff was new...it would be so COOL to play with that wall of sound of guitars with that awesome funky drum and bass backing. Nothing like it.

No kidding. Between Keith Richards and Page, they wrote all the riffs. Hard to name a rock song that occurred later that doesn't borrow from one of these two great guitarists.

The band is simply awesome here. No getting around it, Outside of Zeppelin themselves, this is the only version where they managed to get that see-saw/swing syncopation of the song while giving the illusion of a straight-ahead 4/4 song. True to the SPIRIT of the song. Just pure awesomeness - and I'm really now all that much of a Black Crowes fan.

Page loved playing with the Crowes because there was no pretense no expectations. Plant has a tendency of making shit implicated and Page just wants to jam.

@nedcronin I will admit that Chris is a fantastic singer, but honestly better than Plant? Even he would admit you are wrong... and what was wrong with Plant in the first place? One of the greatest singers ever!
