This isn't really disco, this is Philly based soul-funk with a taste of Commodores

Oh yeah speakin the truth, no matter how the music changed durin ELOs run, it all sounded great thanks to Jeffs voice, I was reluctant to hear Secret Messages, Time and Zoom do to the change in lineup, but when I finally gave in to listenin to them I was glad to learn i was wrong in my opinion cuz it all sounded great

I was always a fan of both ELO and EW&F. This single is just bridging the gap...

always wanted to hear this song. Though I can understand why others wouldn't like it, speaking for myself, every time I hear something from Lynne, I gain a new appreciation for his ear for music. "Love this song"!!! It's just plain fun, and not too serious...

Like it or not, Jeff likes his disco! Just like he likes his rockabilly. ;)

I kinda liked tIhis when it came out. I hated disco, but this wasn't exactly disco, but a crossover sumth'n sumth'n. I knew the ELO of Eldorado was probably officially dead, when this came out.

Brilliant song, first heard it in the late 70's and shows how good Jeff is with his catchy backing vocals, music, sounds, not like the shit you hear on the radio today

I don´t have an idea why Jeff Lynne made a song like this in the Out of the Blue days ! Maybe it was like football to him. To clear your mind between recording sessions. I don´t mean it´s bad it´s different.

Sounds quite reminiscent of Bee Gees material from the same era. I wonder if Jeff got his inspiration from Barry, Robin and Maurice for this track.

Pretty good crossover disco tune. I hear it alot on WOL radio, Wash. D.C. and in the clubs.

Well, it's certainly different. :)

Hey, my local record shop had this on a 33 RPM, 7" promo single. No B-side though, so I bought the 45 RPM 12" single instead! For the same price, might as well get both this and Goin' Down To Rio...HA!

I had this as a 45 single and lost it. Nice to hear it again after all these years. Not because I like the song, really, but as an ELO collectible. Wish I had that 45!!

Think this was a disappointment when it was released. ELO´s success was at its peak. Afterwards it´ s understandable. Like ELO members played football between sessions, Jeff Lynne made this "to clear your head " like with football.
