Spring of 1942 - 73 years ago, but have you seen a cuter, more vivacious singer than Marion Hutton in this song? I haven't. She lived from 1919 to 1987, 68 years, not a long life. Sadly, the last half or so of her life was full of disappointment and decline. But boy, she sure was something in 1942, when this was made. If I had a time machine and could go back then, I would sure try to see her perform live.
