The twist is in the other direction. Notes from another video: "'Crazy Arms' is an American country song recorded by Ray Price. The song, released in the late spring of 1956, went on to become a massive hit that summer and a honky-tonk standard.Jerry Lee Lewis recorded Crazy Arms in December 1956, in Sun Records. It was his first record and his first hit." I had forgotten that's where it came from when I heard Lucie Blue Tremblay do it -- in French -- at a 1980s folk festival.

@lazydave67 Well, this arrangement is on the Great Speckled Bird album, which I think is available from some Canadian label--or if it's now out of print again, you can probably find a second hand copy. I obtained a copy of the CD a few years back, though I had the LP since about 1971.

wow! thank you so very much for posting this! i want to sing along, loudly, but the TSA will surely eject me from the airport! i grew up listening to great specled bird, one of my faves. had never seen this performance.
