I lost my mom on August 24 of this year. She was in my life for forty-eight years but it still seems only like a minute. When she was getting older and sicker I could not listen to this song because I didn't want to think of losing her but now that she is gone this song brings me comfort. I love and miss you mom

For my Mother. I was listening to this CD while driving home from the hospital the night my Mom passed away. This track started playing and I just broke down in tears. Until that time, I had not really listened to the lyrics to this song.

For My Mom.....I heard this song on my way to work the first day back after my mom passed away in November 10 1999....I changed the words to girl and 7 of us....My Mother was my best friend and I found her that night....it was a very sad day for me and this song every time I hear it I cry because its so true to my heart it was like god telling me that she's ok she come home...thank god for telling me through this song....Thank you Darius Rucker for writing it our mothers are one of a kind.
