Not going to lie... although I've been a huge Broadway fan since I was little, until Darren Criss was given the role of Hedwig I never really took an interest in this musical. Maybe it's because I'm stubborn as hell when it comes to what I watch... anyway, I've now seen the movie and listened to/watched all the performances of all the Hedwigs, and while my bias obligates me to say Darren is my favourite Hedwig so far, I worship the ground Neil Patrick Harris walks on and he is a close second. I'm looking forward to seeing what Taye Diggs brings to the stage after July 19th when Darren's run finishes! (Also, this is my favourite song. Hands down.)9 years назад

A great version, but a bit too technical for my taste. Sounds too much like a singer from musical theatre trying to adapt to a rock setting. JCM managed to cross that bridge in an incredibly seamless way. Plus his voice has a certain "heaviness" that Neil's lacks.10 years назад

Can't wait to see this. Counting down the days! JCM is phenomenal and his voice is breathtaking for sure, but I do feel NPH is gonna kill it/is killing it. I personally think his voice is stunning, and it fits for the role of Hedwig.
