Here's a band that formed in Raleigh, North Carolina, named Glass Moon (1977-1986). They scored an entry on Billboard's Hot 100 in 1982 when they hit #50 with a remake of the Hollies' "On A Carousel". They had also released 2 more singles, with both of them failing to crack the Billboard Hot 100, settling for peak positions on the Bubbling Under Hot 100 chart.. In 1980 with "(I Like) The Way You Play" (#108) and in 1984 with "Cold Kid" (#103). You will agree that "Cold Kid", as well as "The Way You Play" and "On A Carousel", deserved a better chart fate.
