I was in 9th grade in a Pittsburgh suburb when this song was popular. It was an innocent time. Girls acted like ladies...Boys like gentlemen. Virginity was the standard & the music we listened to reflected that standard. I was fortunate enough to fall in love at 17 to a girl a year younger. We dated, broke up, got back together and got married. We are still married 41 years later. Thank God I grew up when I did and where I did. Thank you for helping me remember those golden days.
