I was in 9th grade in a Pittsburgh suburb when this song was popular. It was an innocent time. Girls acted like ladies...Boys like gentlemen. Virginity was the standard & the music we listened to reflected that standard. I was fortunate enough to fall in love at 17 to a girl a year younger.
