Love it! We have some of the most beautiful words ever written here and people end up arguing about Canada geese

I didn't compare them to anything. Please READ posts before pontificating. And Canada gees are STILL vile, messy birds.

In "real life" humanity has, in a comparatively short time, brought the planet to the brink of extinction. We are the most dangerous species on the planet and, by far, the major corruptors and polluters. And you compare a species of bird, trying to survive in our filthy waters and fields, to us?

if these lyrics lasted 360 yrs -i strongly urge you to WRITE - more Diana lyrics that came in 20 seconds "you always had one foot in heaven -something not quite hidden in your smile- i often wished that i could meet you -and sit and talk for just a while -you did so much while you walked this world -more than most could realize -but you always had one foot in heaven -something not quite hidden in your eyes" - to turn talent into a gift GIVE THANKS -YOU'LL NEVER HAVE A GIFT TIL YOU DO

we all know how music pushes our buttons...[does "nights in white satin" sound to you like the first song ever written??] -lyrics are another story [ha] -i used to struggle to write -then i gave thanks -and now the words i couldn't find ...THEY FIND ME... like.."some people embrace us and bring us closer to heaven... some people embrace this world and bring heaven closer to earth" [that was for DIANA -] - or "when Churchill spoke every word in the English language fell madly in love with him"

Of course, in real life, Canada geese are HORRIBLE birds. They crap everywhere polluting lakes and ponds, make a foul noise and bully smaller birds. They're good eating, though.

A very beautiful combination of this song and the movie, they are almost in a beauty competition :). They both show that real freedom is not an easy score, but the outcome of love and dedication. Thank you for this lovely upload! I featured it on my channel today. Greetings from The Netherlands.

This is a stunning interpretation of a wonderous poem. One of my favourite Fairport tracks, subdued and subtle and equally as amazing as Matty and other classics
