Again, I want to thank you all for your replies. I enlisted a couple of years after the Viet Nam war ended, back then we service men and women were not very popular. When ever I was out and about in uniform, people looked at me like if I was a piece of crap, most of you should remember that. But still, I was and I am very proud to have worn the uniform of a United States Navy man. And given the chance, I would do the very same thing, so help me God!5 years назад

I want to thank you all for your replies, although it took me quite a while to answer, I appreciate your comments. I am very proud of my service to my Country and I always thank God for keeping me safe and allowing me to return to my family. I served on two aircraft carriers during my 20 years of service. I've sailed through two very powerful storms, one on each ship. If a storm can make an 80,000+ ton carrier rock and roll like a bath toy and you leave boot prints on the bulkheads as you walk the passageways... that's a storm worthy of this song.6 years назад
