Ok ,again , yes the lyrics are about a 16 year old girl who pretty much services alot of married women , BUT , the original lyrics were about Alice Cooper , in 1973 he was the biggest Star in the world , Billion Dollar Babies was huge and Elton and Alice were and still are friends , the original lyrics are out there and probably and demo because it was the record company execs who thought it wasn't good to sing about your competition , so Bernie switched the lyrics around and came up with this which I guess they thought was better ,but , not me. The song musically and ,well everything is great and sticks in your head ,that chorus is a great melody ! Now ,im a professional songwriter myself so you can take it a or leave it ,but ,i know Alice Cooper , and the original chorus was "all the young girls love Alice , terrible Alice they say ,come over to see me come over and please me just make sure my boyfriends away " with a little variation on the following choruses , but they left school in there from a schools out reference , and a few other things , but , either way this is a great song ,also on the dvd super duper Alice Cooper , they talk about this.
