Chet plays banjo and sings with Dolly.
At the start, he briefly plays "Hello Dolly" on the guitar. The real title of the first duet song is "Long Journey Home", a traditional bluegrass number. The best known versions are by the Stanley Brothers and Rose Maddox. Then, the "cornbread" lines are from "Lonesome Road Blues" (Bill Monroe). And finally, there is Foggy Mountain Top ( Earl Scruggs).

Dolly's always flirted with the "plastic" side of show business, where those who actually depended too much on props or baffled us with too much glitter, smoke and mirrors in that plastic world eventually just lost touch with more than reality it seems at times.
