All Things Are Quite Silent
I don't know what Dave might have been feeling to write this song, but to me it's about feeling very tired of things, and it's exhausting and frustrating him. The way those drums are pounded mixed with sad and cryptic lyrics makes this song one of the realest things i've heard. I feel like this and "Do Re Mi" by Kurt are similar in that it feels like both of them portray being sad and not knowing what to do. 11 years назад

Nirvana was Kurt's band, and they played Kurt's songs. Only scentless apprentice has Kurt, Dave and Krist listed as contributing to writing it in the entire Nirvana catalog. Dave also said he learned things about writing songs from living and hanging with Kurt that no one else could have taught him. So without him meeting Kurt and then him killing himself, Dave may have remained behind the drums and/or never created Foo Fighters.11 years назад
