Forgive my ignorance, but how does someone play all the instruments on a song? I assume one at a time, obviously, and then it's mixed in together, but how can one get the timing right so that it all syncs perfectly?Also, don't you need to "blend" in with the other instruments as you're playing your own? If you're on guitar, don't you play along with the drums, etc.?

it's amazing how Nirvana had to convince Dave to join on drums, then Dave became so influenced by Kurt's song writing it becomes the foundation for Foo Fighters. Kurt > Dave, though, sorry Dave!

Sounds like Dave wrote it Specifically for kurt. This sounds like a reference demo for the band. This was for his own solo work? I find that hard to believe it sounds like he wrote it for Kurt to Sing.

Apparently Kurt hear this song in 1993 and after listening he went to dave ,kiss him and told him that he was happy not to be the only one writing songs, but Dave didn't want that so Kurt didn't insist. Might be not true.

I always wondered. Apparently when actually hitting the big time Kurt hated being the front man. Can you imagine if Dave had gone onto the front man role. Kurt could have just sat back and have done guitar and backing vocals. Would have been interesting for sure.
