China Drum sounded like they were very much influenced by Hüsker Dü.I saw them live one time, touring for their second album (that I liked better than "Goosefair"), in a club that could hold 800 people, and we were only 12. It was a FREE show too (for real). The singer ended up singing in the empty pit, it was hilarious.

I agree Chatham - Probably the best cover version ever ! I first heard this on their Goosefair album tbh - played it to death at the time. A fu**in great British punk band - lost to the mists of history - don't recollect any US bands coming out with powerful shit like this - especially knobhead bands from Hollyworld like RHCP who masturbate over bands like The Germs - love all that stuff but come on - this is a class above !!!
