First of all, of course this is auto-tuned. And for those saying that auto-tune doesn't do much, you're wrong. It keeps you on pitch (i.e. if someone was tone deaf, and recorded a song, they can make sure you're on key). Aside from that, there are WAY more vocal effects than just auto-tune...auto-tune is just one of the many.No matter who the singer is, their voices are ALL edited in the studio (even incredible voices like Whitney Houston, Christina Aguilera, etc.). So bashing Britney for using auto-tune is a joke...they ALL do! Some may need it more than others, but irregardless, they're ALL using it. Auto-tune, as well as other vocal effects, can also be used live...so it's hard to tell who can actually sing without all these vocal "crutches".
