Great song. The Cowsills do this from time to time in their show. I would love it if they Recorded it. Paul Cowsill really rocks on it.

my mom was married to the bass player. Lee. When billy formed blue shadows, blue northern wanted to get back together, but lee was a heavy drinker and no one wanted him back in the band. Billy expected my mom to tell Lee that he was not welcome back in blue northern. They were in Calgary when this happened.

I grew up listening to The Cowsills and I remember The Late Billy Cowsill ( January 9, 1948 - February 18, 2006 ) ~ R.I.P. moving to Canada in the 1970's as a solo artist. I remember Billy as a member of Blue Northern, The Blue Shadows and The Co-Dependents. I always liked listening to Your Not the Same Girl and Too Late to Turn Back. Very sad to hear about Barry's drowning death from the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina and Bill's passing on February 18, 2006

The singer's name is Ray O'Toole. He still performs as a solo act in B.C. All the best songs by Blue Northern are written by (and sang by) Ray.
