This Is another song that was released on the Cental Park Concert dvd and not on the cd. I wonder if some of the 'lost' footage still exists in the Streisand vaults. I've seen other songs such as All The Things You Are, And More Than You Know performed at this concert on You Tube. She sounds completely amazing here. Enjoy!

Javier, I'm not where you got your information, but "The Nearness of You" is a popular song, written in 1938 by Hoagy Carmichael with lyrics by Ned Washington. The song was featured in the Paramount film Romance in the Dark released in 1938 and it was sung by Metropolitan Opera singer, Gladys Swarthout.
