Part of Hoffs' allure is that she always seems unaffected by her environment. She's always calm, aloof, there is a sense of stillness about her. And when her eyes movie and her smile slowly spreads across her beautiful little face, it's almost as if it's coming at you from another, more serene world. A kind of feminine paradise. By the way, 1:98 is the first I ever hear her deviating from the recorded melody or improvising in any sense. Even her singing is always even-tempered.

It really depends on how they invested their money. I'm sure they earned a sizeable bundle and still are from royalties depending on their contract. But that they are "rich" today is not a given.

This is the third live version I'm listening to and in every damn one the harmonies are so perfect I almost think it's lipsynched. They were incredibly tight.

I would imagine they would rich. Hugely popular in the 80s and had many hits. I would have to say they one of my favourite groups. When I think of a group I really loved they come to mind.
