I wrote this song several years ago in honor of true, genuine, patient and lasting love, but also in honor of my precious grandparents, who have recently passed away and gone home to heaven (Eldred - October 2014, Ruth - March 2015). They were married for more than fifty years, but they didn't find each other until later in life; they were in their mid-thirties by the time they married! My grandmother remembers feeling lonely and wondering if she'd find the love of her life, so this song always spoke to her in a special way. Isn't that the neatest thing about music? It really has power to speak to peoples' hearts and emotions.
