This is so beautiful... It shows exactly how the human being lets its fears grow to the point of letting us get every time further and further from our beloved ones. The bed has such a great symbolism. Is something so intimate and that we usually count on to give us rest from everything. The way the bed gets bigger and wider is quite ironic, because it means that they don't have any intimacy and rest for their souls anymore. Seriously, it's very hard to make me cry, specially because I have my issues on letting show the tears...But I can't help. This is just too...Too beautifully painful. BRAVO! *stands up and claps*

Is about the lack of communication... it starts like that, you don't know what's going on, so you assume but you never ask... and the other person knows there's something wrong but lets you assume and never tells you... and distance grows over assumptions and misunderstandings...

Throughout the entire song, this couple loses communication between each other. As the beds get wider, their relationship becomes more distant. The narrator (AFP) is constantly wondering what's wrong, but never actually asks their partner until it's too late. He would have told her what was wrong if she had just asked him. If you watch the music video, it might make it a little clearer. Hope this helped :)
