I still remember going down to the lake in Virginia to watch the baptisms. It seemed so amazing back then. It's not quite the same these days. In the church. In a nice clean warm baptismal. A little something seems lost. Maybe the humbling experience of wading out into that cold impure water.. I haven't seen that in nearly 35 years. Seems a lifetime ago.
