To all who missed making decent comments here, and especially to those who sent me personal messages about it, I was thrilled to learn that installing Internet Explorer 9 solved the problem I had with YouTube, so that I can again delete undesirable comments and block those who make them. Also, it was very satisfying to see the comments (I thought had been lost) re-populate when I turned comments back on.
