I think Alenxandre Desplat did a great job  with this soundtrack... It's melancholic and tragic. Severus is the most saddest characters on HP and the way Alexandre composed this song it makes you feel present in that scene.

I think Severus Snape was the most saddest characters on HP, Mainly on the book, the 7th book showed his father who beat him and insulted him when he was drunk.. Severus had just Lily. He loved her more than everything. He had to hide his personality and support all the hatred after he killed Dumbeldore and join Voldemort... Finally, the last thing that he want to see his the eyes of Harry, the same of Lily. And this music is perfect for him. So tragic.
