It's soo sad! Like it pretty much sums up my emotions through the last movie. And I wish Snape didn't die because he still Loved Lily even when they were put into different houses and still loves her. I know its been years since this movie came out but I still cry and wish it wasn't over. Long Live Hardy Potter <3 You will always be in my heart

What's poignant about this song is that it's titled "Lily's Theme" yet it is played over the starting scenes of Hogwart's with Snape as headmaster and how, later in the movie, you find out what their true ties were and just how powerfully sad the song is as it's applied.  Looking into the pained face of Snape you can see just how powerless he is to do anything or he'd give up his secrets.
