Barry Andrews is good on the organ, but i have always wanted to hear XTC's early stuff with Steve Nieve of the Attractions on organ. He is nothing less than a musical genius and an absolute monster on the organ. Everything he played for the Attractions is just astonishing. Not to mention, he used a Vox Super Continental, the world's coolest sounding combo organ.

I really wonder why these lads didn't manage to make it to stardom. They are far superior to many other bands of the same period.

...and some people think the end all be all of music is nirvana in the 90s.

I greatly prefer their later stuff too. It makes sense that most of us improve our talents - whatever they are - as time goes by.

'Bolocks', 'bolocks', 'fuck off', 'blah blah blah'. My my what charmless bunch of fuckwits you lot are. Ahh bless, does my opinion offend you? Here's another one ladies: 'Love on a farmboys wages', absolutely brilliant. This? this is mediocre music at best, embarrassingly bad at worst!

Actually they were more well known in the UK from their earlier music. They moved away from the UK later and enjoyed more success. so fuck off.

Great band of the 80's once they matured a bit. Towers of London, Senses working overtime etc. But their early output was pretty dire generic punk quite frankly.

Youtube has got to sort out forcing me into watching an Ad before every fucking video... at least give me the option to skip. When i'm at home i can switch the TV off or turn a page... Forced advertising is disgusting and wrong... especially when i want to watch something as amazing and original as this... oh no... i have to watch a bunch of airbrushed slags mincing about selling fucking hair products... rant over. Thanks. Bye...

Loved them from 1978, but never realised how much a young Andy looks like Arthur from the great Merlin series on BBC!!!
