i have just listened to billy fury's version of the same song, and i'm sorry to say that vic dana's song is much better. the original is always hard to beat!

you're right. i was a college freshman in 1962 and Vic Dana's "I Will" was very popular in my country (Philippines). This song was my favorite then and it has remained my favorite to this day.
