Because they did Ascendancy which most people consider metalcore. Which to most "true" metalheads, isn't metal and is all shit apparently. Every album Trivium has done is great I think, and it's really pathetic that lots of people will dismiss them just because of the "metalcore" tag they've acquired. They're really good musicians too, incredibly tight and together, and Matt's clean vocals are some of the best in metal at the moment in my opinion :)10 years ago
