+sal destralo. Sal who are you to say she's lying?? There are just some songs that composers really can't explain WHY they wrote what they wrote. Music is a feeling. Music can't be explained, really. It's like when scholars spend years trying to figure out a meaning of a poem. Who CARES?? The poem made you feel something obviously that's why you're trying to dissect it. If it made you feel then it did it's job. Same with music.

she makes up a good story, but leaves out the fact she was in a Cornflake commercial

this is the most lame story behind a song....and if true... she made a lot of money off of girls getting their clits cut out...

What Cornflake Girl means to Me is a Female or any Person in general who pretends to blend in with society, but really on the inside, they feel like an "caged bird".

She's admitted in other interviews that Cornflake Girl refers to a crass Kelloggs advert she made in her younger days when she needed the money !

"We had a term for those people, that, girls, that would turn on you, wouldn't be there for you, that would maybe expose something your trusted them with, that would really let you down..."

Aw, i love this woman and her music, i can't help it! This was the song that got me into her music, in '94, at age 18, during my graduation year in high school, and i remember her sound mesmerizing me; it was exactly what i was missing in music (and i've been exposed to a lot of different musical styles from an early age on), but i didn't know i was missing it until i heard it. Just wanted to share. ;)

Finally! I always wondered if Rabbit was the one from "When Rabbit Howls". She used to hide the keys...

Her face is disappointing, I thought she was better than that. I'd rather look at her "aged" face than a face full of fillers, looking like a lizard. :-(

The elusive trickster Goddess. <3 Even when Tori answers a question, she never answers the god damn question. Not only are her lyrics open wide to vast speculation, but her exposition of her lyrical interpretation is also open to interpretation.

Kind of dangerous the power from one culture putting another on trial, oh wait that's war and the US does it all along

With some practices You'd definitely have a point but the sheer butchery and cruelty of female circumcision makes it difficult to accept whatever the culture and however the people involved understand it.

This is why we did not have our son circumcised. It is his penis, and thus his choice. When he is old enough to make that choice intelligently, we will pay for the procedure if wants it. Circumcision makes a big difference for preventing HIV transmission in Africa. In the U.S., where the circumstances are very different, it just does not really help anything.

I'm always curious as to whether people who feel passionately against female circumcision, have ever given a second thought to male circumcision in Western civilization; particularly American society. As a circumcised male I feel betrayed by my parents insofar that they robbed me of my true sexual/pleasure potential because they felt somehow beholden to antiquated ideals of spirituality and an unquestionable reverence to the AMA. FYI Mom & Dad, I'm perfectly capable of cleaning my junk.

Maybe. 1 + 1 = 1 + 1 - but not each and every time. 1 + 1 = 2 and so on Sorry I think I missed your point...
