it's 2012, everything is a cliche, now the difference is making it look good. it's to each their own, but I think she speaks this language very well. Love and music are both universal, which is why there are so many love songs. If she sang 3 blind mice I'm sure it would be fantastic, but not alot of people feel 3 blind mice, they year for love, it's an emotion on the hierarchy of needs that we just cant escape. no need to close your mind off to it just because its familiar territory.

I used to really love bat for lashes, but this album seems like more of the same stuff. A girl falling in love with a "very attractive bad man," REALLY?! never heard of that story before. Not cliche at all.
