Playing Mike Campbell's parts on the Heartbreakers 1978 song, "Listen to Her Heart" from the "You're Gonna Get It" album. Tom and Mike originally used two 6-string Fenders (Strat & Broadcaster) on this song. When performed live in the past decade, Tom has been using a 6-string Vox Teardrop and Mike has used a '68 Rickenbacker 360-12, his Ferrington double neck, a '67 OS 360-12, and the Rickenbacker 350 on this song.

I'm playing my 2007 Rickenbacker 360-12c63 direct through a '98 Vox AC30 TBX... No pedals. Flatwound strings (Pyramid roundcores).

@RockandRollFan1991 Oh, the Toru caster? That could be... That'd be great to see the Torpedoes clip. I have seen some of that documentary, but not all of it because I don't have a Blu-Ray player, so I never bought it. I heard that Benmont demos some of his Hammond riffs!

@s2seltaeb I think Tom may have used the Broadcaster. If it wasn't that, it was the custom copy that he uses for "Wildflowers", and has a picture of the "Wildflowers" logo on the bass side of the body. The "Classic Albums: Damn the Torpdoes" documentary has Mike giving a demonstration of how he plays "Here Comes My Girl". I have it and may upload for you and stick it in a private message, if you're interested. If you are, watch out for it!

@RockandRollFan1991 Thanks :) I forgot about the Broadcaster. (side note, but did Tom use the Broadcaster on the rhythm for Mary Jane's Last Dance? I thought I read that somewhere). I will try to do a video of "Here Comes My Girl" sometime soon. I know most of it, but I need to learn that little phrase in E that sounds kind like a country/Tele lick during the chorus.

Outstanding, best Campbell cover I've seen in a while! You've certainly got a knack. Would love to see "Here Comes My Girl" covered on this guitar if you know how to do that song, that song screams 12-string. For the original recording, Tom used his/Mike's '64 sunburst Strat while Mike used his famed Fender Broadcaster. For live performances, Mike has used his "Torpedoes" 625/12, and the Broadcaster as well as the guitars you mentioned.
