I've played drums for nearly 50 years and, I am still amazed at how you guys manage to play the guitar. Could be that I've always been sitting where I have failed to learn just what it takes and all given I've spent years staring at your butts, however, you guys always amaze me as to how you manage to put your fingers where need be in order to create such wonderful sounds. God bless you all for allowing me to have so much fun over the years.

This one (Currently on eBay) is a 1963, too. Same year as George's. The auction guy has it labeled as a '61, but it is a '63. Item #: 230920667958

Very nice. Let me know if you'd consider selling it. I'm looking for a vintage one. Great cover, by the way.

Thanks, I will try ISHST some time in the future. I want to get a Gretsch Duo Jet first! ;) Although George did use the Country Gent for that song live sometimes, so maybe I'll record it with that.

1963. I have the original layaway and final purchase receipt from December 1963.

What year is your Gretsch?

Probably my favorite all-time guitar sound is George's Gretsch from the early Beatles albums. Take a whack at I Saw Her Standing There. Great guitar break!

Thank you for clicking on this and adding to my views. Much appreciated. :) You are helping to drive the existence of this video on page 1. It's all about "tagging." By the way, it's "you're," not "your."

Another stupid "play with the record" posting. There's performance back on page 13 and your on page one. That sucks! Help cover Elvis the Pelvis

Nice cover man! For some reason I feel I'm the only person in the world though that doesn't like Gretsch Guitars. Hahahhaa. But great playing man! :)
