is it my imagination or does the rot. valve piccolo have some valve mechanism noise? It does have a more mellow tone than a standard valved instrument. Very expensive, indeed.

I fell like the video would be the best for me to ask this. Im a high school student looking for a nice Bb trumpet with in the 600-1000$ or a little more range. I was looking at a bach 37 model used of course, which would be at the top of my price range. So anyway does anyone have a suggestion for a trumpet with good range support all around especially in the highs, it has a nice dark tone, and idc if its a rotary valve or a standard trumpet either... I just need a suggestion!!!

Clear brilliant notes even when playing soft. That takes serious control of air and embouchure. Masterful playing! Reminds me why Gabriel's instrument is a trumpet...beautiful enough to wake the dead and stop everything on earth. Maybe that's why Bach and Handel loved this instrument so much! Wish we could use some of this 'high church' music in contemporary worship--not that I dislike Wesley, Maranatha, Vineyard, etc; but Bach's love for music and God goes beyond words!

very fine musicianship indeed. Not just notes - music. Not just - music. That's the way to do it... live too.
