I will always prefer the André's version especially the one he did live, after recovering from a cold, and which is absolutely stunning and unbeatable, and cleaner than Tine's version, but this is marvelous playing too. Very colorful. However, and I know I shouldn't be saying that, but she added a lot of trills and glissandos which I think weren't needed... I just guess it's her way of playing this piece, but it sounds a bit...off to me sometimes. Of course, it's still a huge thumbs up :D

it isn't a necessity to memorize everything you play. i just watched a video before this where maurice andre played multiple pieces with the music. memorization is certainly more impressive, but not always the best idea.
