AND as this is a BBC recording,then it's possible that it was sung live' in the radio studio(whereas the tamla version could be backing tracks' with the vocals put on afterwards(see funk brothers(youtube)..

the isley version is better..but it's one of the many,badly done tamla mixes'(vocals too low volume,etc...this version is cooler,sorry to say(but one good thing about the tamla version is...no awful tamla' tambourine thru the whole recording,like on the junior walker recordings..

This is my favorite Zombies song by far. I don't care about versions, or whether he's saying anything correctly or not, his voice and tune is perfect here. I love it so much. If I could only listen to one song for the rest of my life it would be this one.
