Blunstone has - and retains - one of world music's most charasmatic voices. Still ging strong and good luck to him, and the band.

Just heard this song the first time today, I just thought almost 35 years of listening to music, why on earth I haven't heard of this GEM before, such an uplifting song

A really massive rendition of this one. You get the feeling this band were underrated back in the day. I always loved "She's Not There" but it's only recently watching on you tube that I have found they made some of the most interesting tunes of the period. Great band. Hard to believe it was all so long ago now.

I just think hugh grundy has the most magic snappiest of snaps. his "3" is the best snare hit of them all, in all of show-business ever. what is it about that guy? I think he's my very favorite drummer. he's a tasty as ringo, always doing the right, never doing the wrong. the fella has some FEEL

A superbly talent British band but, once again, obscured by teeny-bopper dancers. This goes to show you how undervalued the musicians were, in their day. The TV director or producer was more interested in b'casting the image of kids dancing than the artists making the music. It's now 50 years later, and we're struggling to enjoy these oh-so-rare vintage TV clips, looking at the band in between dancing nobodies that occupy the camera frame. But, again, these young musicians weren't respected enough by the TV production crew (regardless that it was French TV because Hullabaloo & Shindig was just as bad) and what remains is more of a document of how young people danced than how awesome The Zombies were (are).

Taken from the French TV programme 'Dents De Lait, Dents De Loup' ('Milk teeth, Wolf's Teeth') which also featured Sylvie Vartan (singing 'Par Amour, Par Pitie'), France Gall, Serge Gainsbourg ( the latter two sung the theme tune and duetted 'Les Sucettes', a Gall song penned by Serge, Serge also sang his own 'Marilu' - certainly the former three are on YT. Anyway, brilliant post, adore the Zombies!
